| "The creations of a great writer are little more than the moods and passions of his own heart [...]" -William Butler Yeast Most writers can come up with beautiful sensory details, and hidden metaphors and all that jazz, but it's really hard to think of something that is mind blowing. When the best of fictional writers are at work they will dream and create things from scratch in their minds until they think of something that no body else could. Writers like, JK Rowling, who thought of the magical world of Hogwarts, for an example that we all know. Her mind could wander through endless mountains of allurement and create the best stories that she let flow through her pencil. Writers like Katherine Paterson, too, who created Terabithia. She thought of the most mirthful place, and made it real, using every bit of her imagination. However, along with the happy place and the friendships and the love, she included pain, sorrow and regret, but also healing. Both of these authors gave their books life, and made their readers want to be a part of it. Even Suzanne Collins, who wrote the hunger games, made me want to be a part of that horrible world because of her admirable writing. | ||||
Creativity is irrational forms of life being created inside someones imagination and then described in a way that no one else could think of, whether in writing or innovation. The most creative minds are the ones that see from every point of view. They're the ones that experience true life, and see ways that it could be better, more magical, and they change it to be just that, and that's the magic of writing.
